Are you planning a baby shower and looking for fun and adorable ideas? Consider a pink pastel sprinkles theme! This “sweet” theme is perfect for celebrating the arrival of baby number two. A baby sprinkle is what you call a baby shower for the parents’ second (or third, fourth, or fifth!) baby, just to stock up on some of the basics the family doesn’t already have. From decorations to food, there are so many creative ways to include sprinkles into every aspect of the party.
Start by setting the tone with the invitations. Choose pastel pink invitations adorned with sprinkles. This will give your guests a hint of what to expect at the baby sprinkle.
When it comes to decorations, think pink and sprinkle-filled. Hang pastel pastel colored balloons and streamers around the party area. Create a sprinkle-filled backdrop for a cute photo booth spot.
You can even make a DIY sprinkle garland to add a touch of sugary goodness to the space.
For the table settings, use pastel pink tablecloths in a sprinkle pattern, or use sprinkle confetti. Serve the food on sprinkle-patterned plates and use sprinkle-themed napkins.
You can also create a sprinkle-filled centerpiece using clear glasses filled with colorful sprinkles, maybe even topped with votive candles or fresh flowers.
When it comes to the menu, the options are endless. Serve sprinkle-covered cupcakes, cookies, and cake pops. Offer a DIY ice cream sundae bar with a variety of sprinkle toppings. You can even serve sprinkle-covered popcorn for a sweet and salty treat. Use these sprinkle themed food cards for a potluck style menu.
You can put together a sprinkle themed diaper cake, like this one below. Roll up some diapers, add a rubber band, and form the circular tiers of the “cake”. Sprinkle some beads on top to give the appearance of sprinkles.
As for the favors, send your guests home with a sweet reminder of the baby sprinkle. Fill small jars with colorful sprinkles and attach a cute thank you note.
A pink pastel sprinkle themed baby sprinkle / baby shower is a delightful way to celebrate the arrival of a baby girl. From decorations to food, this theme offers endless opportunities for creativity and fun. So, sprinkle some love into your baby shower and create a customized, memorable and sweet celebration for the mom-to-be.
